Both members are known throughout Atlanta for their talents at improv, leading them to appear live and in the studio with other artists including Leb Laze (Hoss Records 002). Their love for improv has also led to the formation of the Kirkwood Baller’s Club, a weekly improv night hosted at a local bar. Ironic in name only, the Kirkwood Ballers Club is quickly becoming a vital outlet for Atlanta's improvised and otherwise adventurous musical communities. Since its formation, the weekly congregation of jazz, noise, punk and occasional hip-hop artists has been steadily building steam with its free Monday night improv sessions at Lenny's. And word is spreading. This single marks The Flakes first official release. Its a-side is a live show staple often played for up to twenty minutes, though limited here due to the 6 minutes allowed per side. The vocals and main guitar track are sampled live during recording allowing for extra layers of information to be added, and thus overcoming the limitations of a two-piece band. What may appear to be the talents of four or five members are actually those of two and are achieved without overdubs. Written as they recorded, the b-side, Pulling In At The Station, shows off their talent at improv as the track slowly builds up momentum, almost reaches chaos and then goes through and eerie decrescendo as if the track were a train coming to a halt. The track, though lyric-less and not truly ‘written’ is as strong as any of their other material and sits beautifully on the back side of this record.

Harris, Herb - Blurry Vision seven inch recording

Raised in the North, educated in the South, the music of Herb Harris straddles that Mason-Dixon Line between the past and the present, the country and the sophisticated, folk-art and “high” art. While loosely basing their sound on timeless mood music produced by the likes of Yes, Neu, Ennio Morricone and Funkadelic, Classic Plus pay just much homage to their own southern roots, as hints of southern rock are swallowed whole by unrelenting crunk rhythms, bred deep in the Atlanta backwoods. Listen as anxiety ridden synths float leisurely alongside syncopated drones of epic proportions. Your mind is where it's at, and Classic Plus knows this! Living by their motto,"WE LIVE BIG!!", these guys are determined to unleash their luxury head-trip worldwide.

Track Listing:

side a: bangladesh pt. 1
side b: bangladesh pt. 2

Jude Stevens ‎– Running Into The Side Of A Mountain 7"

"contributing songwriter and musician for the band formerly known as a fir-ju well, pete delorenzo as jude stevens [website] plays music that's a little more personal. the pseudonym allows him to express his spiritual story and views a bit more freely without feeling like he's infringing on others' feelings and views."

Track Listing:

1. running into the side of a mountain
2. rise humble nation
3. evölg eht llems

Saba-Lou ‎– First Day Of School 7" - the cover has very light shelf wear and very light wear along edges from shipping to Vendor

Saba-Lou ‎– First Day Of School 7"

The cover has very light shelf wear and very light wear along edges from shipping to Vendor

“the recording debut on king khan's 6 year old daughter ?!? that's right...khan plays the music while saba lou tells you how it is!”

Track Listing:

A1 First Day Of School
A2 I Want To Sing What I Want
B1 Physical Nothing
B2 Bella I'm Sorry

S.I.D.S. - Acid One 7"

SIDS were a synth-punk trio from atlanta.
